Seaport Access

Marion County is uniquely positioned for access to saeports on the Gulf  of Mexico and Atlantic Ocean coasts. Florida’s largest seaport is just 90 minutes south in Tampa, and the Port of Jacksonville is a little more than an hour to the north. Companies in Ocala and Marion County can import or export products and quickly move inland by truck for assembly and/or distribution.
